He’s the arbiter of knowledge,
\nthe source for what is true.
\nHe charges nothing for his wisdom,
\nmaking it at hand for me and you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They say the truth has value,
\nand making it free is all but fair.
\nIt distorts the natural advantage,
\nthat hardworking money earners share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They say knowledge has no presence,
\nin uneducated, idle hands.
\nIt is the exclusive inheritance,
\nof the noble people of these lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They paint him as an evil person,
\nthey say he’s involved in crime.
\nHe claims the truth has another version,
\nthey send him away for a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He says he has a clean conscience,
\nand an innocent and worthy cause.
\nThey can wield their political power,
\nand control over the judicial force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was the arbiter of knowledge,
\nhe shared his wisdom for free.
\nNow we can’t know what to believe,
\nwe cannot afford it, you and me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
