I opened the notepad and started writing. The words jumped from the tip of my pen like blue-clad paratroopers out of the hatch of an airplane. The story flowed as a river in the springtime. I felt good. I enjoyed sneaking into the world of the novel. I enjoyed submerging myself completely in a world where I had total control over the plot.
